Solid deal depending on price at time you are looking to buy. So definitely do the math on buying individual meals before purchasing. It was cheaper to buy this kit for me.

    The stroganoff is great

I made the beef stroganoff tonight to try out. Very good taste. Be sure to measure your water correctly so it doesn’t get too soggy. 1 serving was enough for me, but my husband is a big guy and I can see it not being enough for him. We have had the breakfast skillet as well. It is very good. Would definitely recommend for backpacking food.

I like the it was better than some of the others I tried and I like the fact that it’s light weight and you can eat it out. Of the pouch.

These are great for the hikers in the family due to portability. They are also great for the work week lunches. If you have a job where it is hard to leave for lunch (or you just don’t want too), these will store indefinitely in your desk drawer, are easy to make, and taste good. They are no more expensive than fast food and probably a whole lot better for you. They are a little on the bland side, but you can always add some spice. Definitely a good deal in my book.

I am not granola’s biggest fan. The granola in the package is really good, though. Being familiar with “recommended serving sizes” however, I used one pack for one meal instead of two. The total calories for the meal was 520 (both servings together). You add 1/2 cup of water, which turns blue because of the berries, and it’s really tasty.

For the price it’s excellent value and if backpacking the weight/or lack of is a benefit. Delicious.
